Hosting and infrastructure

This website runs on the edge infrastructure of Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). Cloudflare processes requests through data centres within the European Union; transfers to the USA take place only under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, in which Cloudflare is a certified participant.

The data processed comprises technical connection data such as IP address, date, time, requested resource and user agent. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure and stable operation of the website).

Cookies

This website only sets technically necessary cookies that are required to operate the site and the application (session, security, language preference). No tracking, advertising or profiling cookies are used. Consent under §165(3) of the Austrian Telecommunications Act (TKG) is therefore not required.

Local storage in your browser (localStorage)

In the invoice editor, issuer and bank details are stored locally in your browser (localStorage) to save you re-entering them. No data is transmitted to any server. The data remains solely on your device and can be removed at any time via your browser settings. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in a convenient use of the tool).

Contacting us

When you contact us by email, the details you provide (name, email address, content of the message) are stored for the purpose of handling the enquiry and for possible follow-up questions. No data is passed on to third parties. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR. The data is deleted once it is no longer needed and no statutory retention obligations apply.

Analytics, tracking and third parties

A self-hosted, privacy-friendly web analytics tool (analytics.alpine42.com) is used to measure site usage. It sets no cookies, builds no personal profiles and shares no data with advertising networks. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in statistical analysis of website usage). No advertising pixels or third-party tracking are used; embedded third parties are otherwise limited to the hosting provider named in section 2.

Retention period

Personal data is stored for as long as is necessary for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention periods (in particular §132 of the Austrian Federal Fiscal Code (BAO) and §212 of the Austrian Commercial Code (UGB) for tax-relevant records). Otherwise data is deleted once the purpose no longer applies.

Rights of data subjects

You have the right at any time to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, as well as the right to withdraw any consent you have given. Requests can be sent informally to the email address stated in section 1.

If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority: www.dsb.gv.at.

Changes to this policy

This privacy policy will be adapted as needed to reflect changed legal requirements or new website features. The current version is always available on this page.
